Busta Rhymes, dont le vrai nom est Trevor Tahiem Smith Jr., est un rappeur, producteur de disques et acteur américain né à Long Island, New York, en 1972. Considéré comme l'un des pionniers du rap hardcore des années 1990, Busta Rhymes se distingue par son flow rapide, ses rimes complexes et sa présence scénique énergique. Il a commencé sa carrière en tant que membre du groupe Leaders of the New School, collaborant avec des artistes comme A Tribe Called Quest et De La Soul. En 1996, il fait ses débuts en solo avec l'album "The Coming", suivi de succès tels que "When Disaster Strikes" (1997) et "E.L.E.M.E.N.T.S." (2000).
