French Montana, de son vrai nom Karim Kharbouch, est un rappeur marocain naturalisé américain. Son nom de scène provient de la fusion de ses origines franco-marocaines avec le personnage de Tony Montana du film Scarface. Il a débuté sa carrière musicale à New York dans les années 2000, collaborant avec des artistes comme Max B et Nicki Minaj. En 2013, il connaît un succès international majeur avec le single "Pop That", qui atteint la 6e place du Billboard Hot 100. Montana est reconnu pour son style de rap agressif et ses rimes complexes, souvent axées sur la vie de rue et le luxe.
