Protoje, dont le vrai nom est Oje Ken Ollivierre, est un chanteur et producteur musical jamaïcain né à Kingston en 1987. Considéré comme l'un des principaux représentants du reggae contemporain, Protoje se distingue par sa musique introspective et sociale, caractérisée par des paroles poétiques et des mélodies captivantes. Sa carrière a débuté au début des années 2000 avec la sortie de plusieurs mixtapes, culminant en son premier album officiel en 2011 intitulé "The 7 Year Itch".
