Protoje, pseudonimo di Oje Ken Ollivierre, è un cantante e produttore musicale giamaicano nato a Kingston nel 1987. Considerato uno dei principali esponenti del movimento reggae contemporaneo, Protoje si distingue per la sua musica introspettiva e sociale, caratterizzata da testi poetici e melodie coinvolgenti. La sua carriera ha preso avvio negli anni 2000 con l'uscita di diversi mixtape, fino al debutto ufficiale nel 2011 con l'album "The 7 Year Itch".
