Sean Paul, all'anagrafe Sean Paul Ryan Francis Henriques, è un cantante e rapper giamaicano nato a Kingston il 9 gennaio 1973. Considerato uno dei pionieri del genere dancehall internazionale, ha raggiunto fama mondiale negli anni 2000 grazie al suo stile musicale che fonde elementi di reggae, hip hop, pop e R and B. Tra i suoi successi più noti figurano "Get Busy", "Temperature" e "We Be Burnin'". J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
